Poha Vada - Poha Vada is an instant and easy vada and healthy too. These poha vada are made with rice flour and besan. If have any problem with besan, they can be made with only rice flour. As this is instant vada it can be made in just 10mins as evening snack or even breakfast.

These poha vada are very light. People in diet also can eat these. But the thing is we need to deep fry them. If you serve to guests even they don't understand as poha vada, and they definitely ask you for the recipe..

The best thing about poha vada is we can have them directly without any chutney. Or if you compulsory need any it can be served with Ginger Chutney or Mango Pickle.

Ingredients Required

  • Poha - 1cup
  • Rice flour - 1/2cup
  • Besan - 1/2cup
  • Salt - 1tsp
  • Onion - 1
  • Green chillies - 3
  • Coriander leaves
  • Oil for deep fry

1. Add poha into a bowl and clean once. Add water and let soak for 5mins.

2. 5mins later poha bulges and quantity increases.

3. Squeeze water and transfer poha into a bowl.

4. Now add rice flour, besan, chopped onion, green chillies, salt, coriander leaves into poha.

5. Add water and mix all together to get the consistency that vada can be made.

6. Vada can be made on hand by applying water on hand.

7. Add them into oil for deep fry.

8. They don't get much colour, when onions are fried, they can be removed from oil.

9. Poha is ready to serve. It can be served with any pickle.
