Benefits Of Beetroot On Skin
Beetroot does wonders to your skin and hair, it is a must to include in your beauty and skincare routine. It is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory in nature and helps in clearing out blemishes and aids in acne treatment.
Beetroot contains high levels of folates and antioxidants reduces the severity of wrinkle appearance, which can be achieved by both consuming beet juice or directly applying the beetroot paste on the face.So now instead of paste, we can use soap. Ingredients Required
- Soap Base
- Essential oil – 1tbsp
- Alovera gel – 3 or 4drops
- Vitamin – E capsule
- Beetroot pieces - 1/2cup
- Soap mould/Any small bowls
Preparation
1. Apply essential oil or coconut oil into mould or any bowls in which soap can be prepared. I'm preparing this soap in small bowls.
2. Add beetroot pieces into a mixi jar and grind into fine paste.
3. Now add essential oil, alovera gel,vitamin-e capsule and mix all together and keep aside.
4. Heat some water in a bowl.
5. Meanwhile chop soap base into small pieces.
6. Now melt soap base in double boiler method on stove or in microwave for 30secs.
7. Let soap base melt completely and turns to watery consistency as shown below.
8. Then add beetroot paste which we mixed with essential oil, alovera gel,vitamin-e capsule into soap base and mix all together for 3 to 4mins.
9. Then add them into oil greased bowls or soap mould.
10. Chill for 20mins to half an hour. This is based on the refrigerator whether it is high cool or medium cool. Mostly within 20mins soap will be ready. Keep it in deep fridge, cover with lids.
20mins later once check by touching soap, if it is hard then soap is ready. Then once insert knife onto sides of the bowl and tap the bowls on the floor by reversing them then soap is ready.
