Besan Bonda | Instant Snack Recipe


Besan Bonda/Senagapindi Bonda - As in name this instant snack is made with besan. For the crispiness we can add rice flour. Mostly it will same as normal onion pakodi. But for both recipes batter consistency will be different.

In telugu it is known as senagapindi bondalu.


No particular shape for this besan bonda. This instant snack recipe can be easily made by new beginners too. It takes just 20mins to make this recipe.

Ingredients Required
  • Besan/gram flour - 1cup
  • Rice flour - 1/4th cup
  • Cooking soda - 1/4th tsp
  • Onion - 1/2chopped
  • Green chillies - 2 chopped
  • Salt - 2tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1/2tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1/2tsp
  • Coriander leaves
  • Oil - required for deep fry
Preparation

1. Add all ingredients gram flour, rice flour, cooking soda, chopped onion, chopped green chillies, salt, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, coriander leaves into a bowl and mix all together.

2. Add water required to prepare thick dough which bonda can be made and let rest for 15mins.

3.15mins later drop bonda's into hot oil and fry till colour changes.

4. Besan bonda is ready to serve.
