Prawns Fry - Prawns Fry, a delicious recipe to start a non-veg lunch or dinner. Prawns are the delicacies of the sea world with amazing taste and having lower calories. 

Even though we can make lot of recipes with prawns, the most easy recipe among prawns recipes is this prawns fry recipe .

This recipe is really quick and easy to make and it tastes absolutely delicious. This recipe has a crispy crunchy texture on the outside made with a flour mixture and the spices added to it makes your taste buds ask for more.

We can make many recipes with prawns like Prawn Dum Biryani. Prawns Curry etc.

This is my most favourite non veg recipe along with chicken. Anyone, even new to cooking can make easily prawns fry, just follow the process. You all will love it. Compared to other non veg recipes, we use less masalas for prawns. Just follow small tips and yummy fry will be ready. 

Coriander Powder & Garam Masala I used for this recipe are homemade. Homemade powders gives more flavour and taste as they are freshly grounded.

So now lets get into the process of preparing easy and tasty prawns fry recipe. I'm sharing Video Recipe also, just checkout if you have any doubts. First lets checkout the ingredients.

Ingredients Required

  • Prawns - 1/2kg
  • Oil - 3tbsp
  • Onion - 2 or 3 based on size
  • Green chillies - 3 sliced
  • Ginger garlic paste - 2tbsp
  • Salt - 3tbsp
  • Red chilli powder - 3tbsp
  • Turmeric - 1/2tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1tsp
  • Garam masala - 3/4tsp
  • Coriander leaves
  • Curry leaves
Preparation

1. For cleaning prawns, Just clean with normal water once.
2. Then add turmeric, salt, half lemon juice and mix all together and then clean with water. 



So that prawns will be releaved from unpleasant smell. Then again clean with normal water.

3. Now marinate them for half an hour by adding 1tsp salt, 2tsp red chilli powder, 1 1/2tsp ginger garlic paste.



4. 20mins later, add oil into heated pan. As it is non veg fry, oil is needed little more than normal fries.



5. Then add chopped onion and sliced green chillies and fry till onion changes colour.




6. Now add ginger garlic paste required for onions and saute for 2 to 3mins.



7. Then add salt, red chilli powder required for onion and saute for 2mins.



8. Then add marinated prawns and mix.



9. Close lid and cook for 10mins, mix frequently. No need to add water, automatically prawns releases water, with those water they will be cooked perfectly.


10. Add coriander powder, jeera powder and cook for 2 to 3mins.




11. Prawns are cooked perfectly. Now cook with lid open in-between medium and high heat for 3 to 4mins.



12. While frying add garam masala and mix. 



13. Then add coriander and and curry leaves and saute till curry leaves are crisp. Adding curry leaves before turning off the stove gives more flavour and taste. 




14. Turn off the stove and finally prawns fry is ready to serve.
