In this article, I’ll share how to prepare meal maker pakoda. 

Soya chunks are made from defatted soy flour, a by-product of extracting soybean oil. It has a protein content which is equal to that of meat. You can prepare many dishes using soya chunks such as soya chunks curry, kurma and even add them to your pulaos, soups, stir fries, etc

  1. Meal Maker is known to reduce the risk of osteoporosis in menopausal women and also ease other symptoms as it's a good source of isoflavones. 
  2. Since it's a good source of omega- 3 fatty acids and fiber, it can benefit in lowering down cholesterol levels in a body.

  4. The isoflavones present in soy make it anti-diabetic and also increases your bodies' energy levels which in turn enhances a good mood which makes soy an appropriate food choice for diabetic patients

Soybeans are high in protein and a decent source of both carbs and fat. They are a rich source of various vitamins, minerals, and beneficial plant compounds, such as isoflavones. For this reason, regular soybean intake may alleviate the symptoms of menopause and reduce your risk of prostate and breast cancer.

Ingredients Required:
  • Meal maker – 1 cup
  • Onion – 1
  • Salt – 1tsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1tsp
  • Garam masala –  1/2tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1/2tsp
  • Besan – 1/2cup
  • Rice flour – 1/4cup
Preparation:
  1. Chop onion into cubes and grind to fine paste and keep aside
  2. Add 1cup meal maker into a bowl, add hot water and let rest for 10mins
  3. 10mins later add them to strainer and pour normal water on them and squeeze extra water  and transfer them into a bowl
  4. Add salt, red chilli powder, garam masala, ginger garlic paste, onion paste, besan, rice flour.
  5. Mix all together
  6. No need to add water , if required add 2 or 3 spoons water and mix
  7. Rest for 10mins
  8. 10mins later add into hot oil for deep fry
  9. Fry till colour changes
  10. Meal maker pakoda is ready to serve
