Poha Vada


Poha Vada - prepared with soaked flattened rice/poha. it is an instant recipe.no grinding or no fermentation is required.
  

Generally we prepare vada with uraddal, but this recipe is complete different from that.

Poha Vada are prepared with soaked flattened rice/poha. it is an instant recipe.no grinding or no fermentation is required. very quick and tasty evening snack recipe. you need to take care while squeezing out the water from poha. so that the vadas wouldn’t absorb oil.if in case you feel that the batter has too much moisture, you can increase the quantity of rice flour to reduce the moisture. 

In the same process you can prepare poha punugulu also

Ingredients Required
  • Poha – 1cup
  • Besan – 1/2cup
  • Rice flour – 1/2cup
  • Salt – 2tsp
  • Onion – 1
  • Green chillies – 3
  • Oil for deep fry
Preparation
  1. Add 1 cup poha into a mixing bowl, clean once
  2. Add water and leave for 5min
  3. 5min later remove water and squeeze poha and transfer it to another bowl
  4. Add besan and rice flour, salt, onion, green chillies and mix
  5. Prepare vada shape and drop into oil for deep fry
  6. Poha Vada is ready to serve.
